3 Tips for Keeping Warm in Your Cold Office

This post is sponsored by ClimateRight but the content and opinions expressed here are my own.

It’s kind of a fact of life when you work in an office environment that the temperature is never quite right. There’s the times the weather suddenly turns warm and your office is an oven, and the times that it’s freezing – both outside and inside. Our office even has offices that are frigid the same day that others are sweltering. Sometimes it is a struggle to stay comfortable.

Luckily, keeping warm is as simple as being prepared and keeping a few things on hand at the office. Most offices don’t allow space heaters since they’re a fire hazard, but they do allow the three things I’ve listed below!

  • Hot beverages. Whenever I’m cold, the thing that warms me up from the inside is always a hot beverage. I’ve got an array of tea as well as both regular coffee and decaf at the ready in my office, and on a cold day, it definitely makes you feel better to sip something warm!

  • Dressing in layers. Layers are a surefire way to make sure you’re warm in the office and an easy way to make the clothing you already own a little warmer. I like to use thinner, lightweight pieces for this, and I’ve recently started to try out ClimateRight by Cuddl Duds – available exclusively at Walmart.

Since they’re so affordable, I was skeptical when I first tried them out, but I was so impressed with how soft and comfortable they are. They have 3 different lines to choose from, as well as tops and bottoms. I like to layer a fleece top under some of my favorite sweaters and leggings under dresses. It makes it really easy to stretch your wardrobe at an affordable price, so head here to find out more!

  • Bring a blanket to work. Several people in my office keep blankets at their desk, and I keep meaning to bring mine in as well! Let’s be real, most people have multiple cozy throws at home, so it’s easy to grab one to bring to the office to keep warm!

What do you do to keep warm in your cold office? I’d love to hear your suggestions below!
