Happy September, friends! I am so excited to see my favorite time of the year starting up and beyond ready to say goodbye to summer. I not only love the fall fashion, but love that there won’t be any 100 degree days left this year, and my makeup finally isn’t going to melt off my face!
Some of you may know that I’m a big makeup and skincare junkie, which I haven’t shared as much as I’d like to. In an effort to share more of that, I thought I’d start by sharing what I’ve got my eye on for Ulta’s 21 days of beauty this fall.
I tend to use these sales to stock up on past favorites if they’re part of the sale (and a few of my favorites are!) or to try out things I’ve had my eye on. This year is no exception, and I’ve rounded up my picks below. Some of these are online-only, and a few are available only to Platinum or Diamond members, so make sure to check that. There are some days where I’ve picked multiple deals, and some days I’ve skipped over the whole day. Happy Shopping!
9/1 – Benefit The POREfessional Face Primer. One of the primers I have in rotation, and one I’ve repurchased! This primer minimizes pores if that’s your main concern, and it feels silky and not too thick!
9/2 – Clinique Take the Day off Cleansing Balm. I’ve been using this for about a month to remove my makeup. After looking into several options for a cleansing balm (including pricier ones like Elemis and Drunk Elephant), I settled on this one since it was the best value, and I’ve loved it. I use this to remove my makeup before cleansing. It removes every bit of makeup and comes off my hands with just water. So good and at half off it’s a steal! Foreo Luna Play Plus. I actually have a different model of Foreo, but I love it and use it every day. They retain their battery life forever, and I swear my face is cleaner since I’ve been using my Foreo. I keep it in the shower and it works perfectly with any cleanser, and the silicone means I never have to worry about changing a brush head or wondering if it’s clean. Ofra Highlighter – I have heard AMAZING things about these highlighters. They’re new to me, but I’m thinking this might be the day I give them a try!
9/3 – Becca Hydra Mist and Set – I love Becca products, and this powder has always intrigued me (though I rarely stray from my Holy Grail powder). I may pick this up for a trial!
9/5 – Mac Lipstick – The colors Creme In Your Coffee and Diva are on sale for everyone, but Platinum and Diamond members can also get the classic Ruby Woo, which is what I’m thinking of grabbing!
9/6 – Monsieur Big Mascara. I recently started using a trial size of this mascara and I’m loving it – my lashes are longer and more defined, and it lasts all day. This is a steal for this mascara, so I may buy more than one. Estee Lauder Concealer. Estee Lauder Doublewear is one of my favorite foundations, so I thought I might give this new concealer a try!
9/7 – Anastasia Brow Definer. One of the areas I have little expertise in is my brows. As someone with naturally fuller brows, I was always more concerned with waxing than with filling in the sparse spots. Anastasia products get great reviews, so I may pick this up!
9/9 – Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Powder. I’m in need of a new pressed powder to keep in my purse, so this may fit the bill. Urban Decay’s setting spray is a favorite of mine, so this is worth a try! Benefit Hoola Bronzer. This is a great warm bronzer for many skin tones. I have an unopened one so I won’t be picking it up this time, but it’s a great one!
9/13 – Tarte Blush. Tarte blushes are creamy, blendable, and come in tons of colors. I have two already, and I’m thinking of picking up one more shade for the fall and winter!
9/14 – It Cosmetics Bye Bye Foundation. I’m a big fan of their CC Cream, and I’ve been wanting to try this foundation for a while!
9/15 – Tarte In Bloom Palette. This may be my favorite eyeshadow palette of ALL TIME. The colors are beautiful and blendable, neutral enough to go with pretty much anything, and fantastic quality. I could use this palette every day and never got bored of it. It’s WELL worth picking up and I wouldn’t be surprised if it sold out! Too Faced Primer and Setting Spray. I haven’t tried the setting spray, but I had a sample of the primer and was pretty happy with it!
9/18 – Tula products. This is online only and the deal isn’t specific on which items are included, but I’ve loved every Tula product I’ve tried. I’ve been using their face cleanser for a few months now (I got it in FabFitFun box) and I do believe it’s made a difference in my face. I’m curious to see what they include in the sale.
9/21 – Tarte Shape Tape. This is my favorite under-eye concealer – one I use every day! This deal is only available to Diamond and Platinum members, but I’ll be taking full advantage! Definitely good to have a few extra around!
Anything you would add to my list I may have missed? Are you shopping Ulta’s 21 Days of beauty?
