Weight: As of her 4 month checkup on Wednesday, Abbie is 13.5 pounds and 26 inches long! That means she’s off the charts in height and in the 50th percentile for her weight. My tall girl!
Health: She’s doing great, and the doctor is really happy with her growth. She did have shots at her appointment, and spiked a 101.7 fever as a result…so I stayed home from work with her on Thursday too. I was surprised since she didn’t seem to have a reaction at 2 months, but I’ve learned that can change! It was so heartbreaking to see her so miserable!
Sleep: Abbie is a great sleeper at night – she’s started sleeping 9-10 hours straight most nights. Napping is still terrible for mom and dad, but awesome at daycare. Go figure.
Social: She LOVES daycare and playing with the other kids there. And on Sunday we have her first attendance at a birthday party!
Diet: Mostly breast milk with some formula…but we started solids this week! So far she’s had rice cereal and applesauce. She doesn’t quite know what to do with it, but we’ll keep trying – whatever she eats of it is fine with me – it’s mostly just for practice at this point.
Clothes: 3-6 month and 6 month.
Baby Gear Love: I’m not sure she loves it, but we started using her high chair…
Crying: Only when she’s tired or wants something.
Likes: She’s starting to like bathtime more and more – she’s even splashing and kicking a little bit now.
Nicknames: Abbie, Abs, Abbiecakes, Stinker, Bug, Buggie
Postpartum: Doing pretty well. I had a tough few weeks with my eating habits in transitioning back to work, but I’m back on track now.
Milestones: Starting solids this week!
She was in a cranky mood during her pictures…can you tell?

Noah tends to get low grade fevers with shots too. A dose of baby Ibuprofen helps before shots! Poor babes!
She is SO CUTE! And I can’t believe she’s growing so fast. So crazy!
