Bumpdate: 20 Weeks!

How Far Along? 20 Weeks – HALFWAY!

Weight Gain? 14 pounds or so…I guess my days of staying the same are through!

Size of Baby? Still a mango, just a bigger one – about 6.5 inches

Maternity Clothes?  Pants, Shirts, and dresses.  I’m still wearing prepregnancy clothes to bed, but I have a feeling that won’t work for much longer.

Stretch Marks?  I haven’t seen any yet, but it’s starting to itch – I really need to go buy some cocoa butter.
Gender? This week I think girl for some reason…

Sleep? Ok.  Still getting up to pee once or twice every night.

Food Cravings? Nothing really – I’m so thankful I’m feeling normal in that department!

Symptoms? I really feel pretty normal…

Movement?  Starting to kick more and more!

Belly Button? Innie, but there’s definitely pressure right below it.

Wedding rings on or off?  On

Labor signs?  Long way from there still…

Best Moment of the Week? Our ultrasound on Monday!  I loved seeing Chris’ face light up as he saw our baby moving around on the screen.  Their only concern is that my placenta is low, but they think it’ll fix itself.  They want me to do another ultrasound at 30 weeks to make sure it moves.  Anyone ever had that before?

What I Miss? I could really use a beer, but other than that I’m good!

What I am looking forward to:  Getting more stuff for the nursery and buying more baby things!

I totally blanked on taking a belly pic this morning, but here’s some pics from Monday’s ultrasound!

I think my favorite is the foot – you can see the little toes!

  1. Half baked! Yay!

I’m super jealous your kiddo showed his/her face to you. My little overachiever didn’t want to move from the birthing position so we only saw a lot of baby butt and baby feet.

  2. YAY!!! Halfway! My placenta was low too, but it fixed itself! 🙂 I have no idea why that happens or how it fixes itself…but it did! 🙂
