Curbing Your Sweet Tooth on Whole 30

This post is sponsored by Celestial Seasonings but the content and opinions expressed here are my own.

Like so many people, I’ve been on a quest to watch what I’m eating this year and really concentrate on taking care of my body. I would venture to guess that getting healthier is one of the most popular New Year’s resolutions, and my goals for the year are no different.

That said, I’m not new to this journey, and it’s one I’ve been on a while now. Slow and steady is how I like to work on my health, and I really believe in eating real food. I chose to start off 2019 with my second round of Whole 30.

I did my first round in the fall, and this one feels a bit different than that one. After the indulgence of the holidays, it’s nice to get back to eating cleaner, and I feel so much better. But I’m not going to lie – I miss sweets. I tend to be the type of person to need a little something sweet every day, and sometimes a piece of fruit just doesn’t do it, so I look for alternatives.

One of those alternatives for me has been tea. A great quality tea can give plenty of sweetness with clean ingredients and satisfy that craving. I’ve been drinking Celestial Seasonings tea for years, and it’s no surprise it’s a brand I turn to when looking for flavorful, healthy teas – with 0 calories.

I picked up 3 of my favorite flavors at my local Walmart – Peppermint, Country Peach Passion, and Honey Vanilla Chamomile. Both Peppermint and Country Peach Passion are Whole30 compliant, and I’ve got the Honey Vanilla Chamomile stashed away for the end of the 30 days! I love that Celestial Seasonings has so many flavors to choose from, and that’s one of the reasons they’ve always been of my go-to brand for tea.

Also, do you see that tea bag? Celestial Seasonings is committed to sustainability, so all their tea bags are stringless and packaged in recycled boxes. Every little bit helps, and they’re able to accomplish that at an affordable price point.

If you’re on a Whole 30 or other any wellness journey, I can’t recommend these enough – they’re sweet enough on your their own and the perfect treat to curb those cravings. Head here to find them at your local Walmart, and keep in mind they’re available for grocery pickup, too! Let me know your favorite flavors in the comments!
