A Productive Weekend

Good morning!  I hope you all had a great weekend!  Ours was pretty good, but VERY productive!

Saturday morning we ran our normal errands and did our grocery shopping, and Saturday afternoon we headed out to Potomac Mills – I won a gift card at the Femworking Conference and we headed to pick it up (instead of watching my Hokies fall apart yet again…they are nothing if not inconsistent).

While we were there, we finally decided to get Abbie’s ears pierced.  I know a lot of people don’t do it this early, so I’m planning on talking about why we did on here tomorrow.

Saturday night was a little rough – Abbie’s been really congested lately so she’s had a hard time sleeping…none of us slept too well that night.  We started Sunday with some yummy pancakes (recipe coming soon – these are pretty healthy and have a yummy orange butter with them)…

And spent the day doing tons of cleaning, all of our laundry (seriously, I think we washed EVERYTHING), and playing with our little girl….who likes to rearrange furniture around the house.

Hope you have a great Monday!  Don’t forget that today’s the last day to sign up for the Scarf Swap!

  1. I think earrings on little girls just look SO CUTE! I’d just be worried I would get frustrated cleaning them and caring for them— I’m so impatient haha! 😉 Orange butter on pancakes?! SIGN ME UP!

  2. I have always wanted to pierce our little girl’s ears, but now that she’s two and a half I think we need to wait until she is a little bit older so she doesn’t play with them. They look super cute on your little girl though!

  3. Yep, that’s what the lady at the piercing place told me – she said it’s best to do it before 2, and if you don’t, you should wait until about 6. I kind of love how they look on her!
