Hi there. Abbie here.
I borrowed Daddy’s computer this time to talk to you. He fell asleep on the couch while Mommy’s making dinner, so naturally it’s time for an Abbie post.
Let’s see, what did I want to tell you? Oh yeah, about bunches of fun people I know.
This is my Grandma. She’s mommy’s mommy. She’s just like mommy, only gives me more cheese doodles and cookies. I like that. Sometimes she picks me up and squeezes me while I’m trying to play. Grandma, I love you, but sometimes I’m busy! She also has lots of these fun things at her house that stick to the fridge – I think they’re called magnets. She likes them a lot, so if you go somewhere fun, you should get my grandma a magnet.
This is my Pop. He’s mommy’s daddy. He’s the best snuggler there is and he likes to read me stories. The other day when mommy and daddy went out, he rocked me to sleep – he’s so comfy and made me feel better about missing my mommy and daddy. He’s also the best computer fixer there is, so I’m not really worried about if I ever break mommy or daddy’s computers – pop will just fix it.
This is my Grammie. She is daddy’s mommy and lives in a place called Rome. I don’t know where that is, but it sure sounds far away. She likes to make quilts and buy me pretty clothes. She got me a bunch for Christmas. She also really likes music, which is great because maybe one day she can teach me. I LOVE music. Grammie also has blond hair which is where mine and Daddy’s came from.
This is my Grampy. He is my daddy’s daddy and the first thing you should know about him is that he’s super tall. He lives in Rome with Grammie and works for some fancy government job. He and Grammie are fun to talk to on the computer every week and I love showing off everything I can do – climbing on the couch, clapping hands, and waving are my favorites. He and Grammie always talk about how cute I am, so that’s good. It’s important to know that I’m cute. He and Grammie are going to visit this month and I am so excited to see them!
So that’s some cool people I know. Because you should know them too. Now, I’m going to go play with the pots and pans, and maybe the tupperware if I can figure out how to open that clicky lock.
Love,
Abbie
