Oh hey there Stitch Fix day! I have been crazy late on sharing this, and I am actually completely skipping my June box at this point. Time just gets away from you in the summer, you know? Anyway, time for my July box!

My July 2017 Stitch Fix Review featuring 41 Hawthorn, Papermoon, Loveappella and Q&A - great summer top options for work and casual wear!

If you haven’t heard of Stitch Fix (and I would be surprised if you haven’t!), it’s a personal styling service. I’ve been getting fixes for over 3 years now and it’s my favorite way to shop! First, you fill out a style profile and set up a Pinterest board of what you love, then your stylist (hi, Darla!) picks out 5 items for you and ships them straight to your door to try on in the comfort of your own home. Each box is $20 and includes shipping both ways, plus that $20 gets applied to anything you buy! They even give you 25% off if you buy everything – which I’ve only done once. So worth it, in my opinion, to not have to take my girls (and my husband, let’s be honest) shopping for clothes! Anyway, on to my July fix! I told Darla I was really struggling with work clothes, especially tops, and she sent me an all tops fix!

41 Hawthorn Kim Clip Dot Blouse – XL – $58

I liked this top a lot. It’s actually pretty sheer but came with a white cami that clipped into it. At first, I thought the pattern was interesting and I loved the texture… but it seemed just a bit too familiar, because I already have a short sleeve top in the same colors and a similar pattern. The neckline was also a bit too high for me and I knew I’d be messing with keeping the cami and the top to make them lay properly. Verdict: Returned.

Loveappella Pola Pocket Knit Top – XL – $44

No joke, Loveappella is probably my favorite brand that Stitch Fix carries and I own a ton of pieces from them. My husband actually loved this shirt – it was comfy, the stripes, everything. It was super soft and comfortable and I almost kept it… but I don’t need yet another casual striped top. This was a bit too informal for me to wear to work, so back it went. Verdict: Returned.

41 Hawthorn Liano Mixed Material Top – XL – $54

I love, love, love this top and knew I would from the moment I saw it in the box. I have another solid top with a similar cut that I wear all the time, and this one is even better! I love the pretty floral print, the mixed media fabric (the back is a solid white and super soft), and the detailing. I think I wore this before I even did my Stitch Fix checkout. It’s perfect for work and I’ll be able to layer it into the fall! Verdict: Kept!

Q & A Pauline Pleated Neckline Blouse – XL – $58

So just how the last top I knew immediately that I was keeping it… this one I knew immediately that I was sending it back. It’s just far too flowy for my taste, and the neckline was really high in the front – I knew I’d never be comfortable in it. I did like the pleat detailing in the back and the color, but this was just not for me. Verdict: Returned.

Papermoon Maula Cap Sleeve Knit Top – XL – $48

While this shirt wasn’t the most exciting thing I got, it was absolutely perfect for work, where I was really struggling with tops. I love the navy color and the print, and I know it’ll be really versatile for me through the summer and into the fall. It’s also super easy to nurse in, so I could really wear it on the weekends as well! Verdict: Kept!

That’s my July box! Do you think I made the right choices? My next box is coming up quick and I have no idea what to ask for. What are you loving right now?
