Well, it’s one of my favorite days of the month – Stitch Fix day! I realized the other day that I’ve hit 3 years of receiving boxes, and I love it even more now than when I first started getting them. It makes clothes shopping so easy for me – this busy mom does not have time to shop!
This month, I asked for an all tops fix, because that’s currently where I’m struggling with my closet – especially for work tops. I asked that all tops be nursing friendly, but as you’ll see, I should have been more specific. Several of the tops were sized up to accommodate that, and it just made the fit off for me.
41HAWTHORN Lenore Henley Blouse – SIZE XXL – $48
At first glance, I loved this top, and it’s the exact kind of thing I like to wear to work in the spring and summer – easy to layer and with a fun pattern. Once I tried it on though, the fit issues came to life. While sizing up to an XXL allowed this top to be nursing friendly, it made it unwearable in other ways. It’s hard to see, but the armholes are too big and don’t hit me right, and it’s very flowy across my midsection, which always seems to make me look bigger. I liked the colors, but this was an easy no. Verdict: Returned.
41HAWTHORN Shalley Split Neck Blouse – SIZE XXL – $48
The pattern of this top is just darling in person, so bright and fun. Unfortunately, I had the same fit issues as the first one – too big armholes and too big in my midsection. I almost opted to exchange this one, but since exchanges can’t be returned and I wasn’t sure it would fit right, I sent it back. Verdict: Returned.
Papermoon Bartlett Split Neck Blouse – SIZE XXL – $38
I wasn’t too crazy about the color combination on this top, and it was Chris’ least favorite as well. The sizing on this was the weirdest of the bunch. It was big across my midsection, but the arms were snug. It just wasn’t a winner. Verdict: Returned.
KAILEIGH Monique Floral Back Knit Top – SIZE XL – $44
This was one of the pieces I had a hard time deciding on. I love the floral detail in the back, but I wasn’t crazy about the t-shirt material of the front. It just seemed so plain to me, and I couldn’t help feeling the shirt should be reversed. This was Chris’ favorite, but I just didn’t see myself wearing it enough to keep it. Verdict: Returned.
OLIVE & OAK Mulliken Raglan Striped Knit Shirt – SIZE XL – $48
Finally, the winner of this box! As soon as I put this top on, I knew I’d be keeping it. It’s so soft, and it’s a great shirt for spring, summer, and fall. I love the stripes, the baseball tee style, and the colors. I know I’ll be wearing this all year long! Verdict: Kept!

Such a bummer about the wonky sizing, that second tank had so much potential. I do love the piece you kept though!!
Saved the best for last! Im a sucker for anything with stripes, so cute!
I actually really like that floral back top! But you’re right, the front does seem kind of plain.
I love the one you kept though! Those baseball tee styles are my favorite!
CUTE fix! I’m a sucker for anything stripes! LOl 🙂
Stitch Fix will do returns on size exchanges. I have the same trouble with arm holes in XL and XXL. I do the exchange online and then send an email that I am not sure about the size exchange. They checked back in after the new size came to see if it fit. They told me I could exchange if it didn’t fit.
