If you’ve been reading here for a while, you probably know a few things about me and my parenting style. There are two things I always, always believe in.
- Giving my kids the best I can.
- Doing #1 without making things harder on myself.
I think they’re pretty self-explanatory. As moms, we always want to give our kids the best, but all too often, it comes at our own expense. I learned that the hard way with my first baby. I thought I had to do it all – breastfeed, cloth diaper, and make my own food. You guys, I even made Abbie yogurt from scratch. The recipe is in my archives to prove it!
Now that I have two girls…I’ve adopted my second mantra more and more, and always choose the option that gives my girls the best but doesn’t stress me out. That means no more making my own yogurt – this mom no longer has time for that.
That doesn’t mean I don’t want Ella to have yogurt. Instead, it means that I am going to make the best choice I can for her in the yogurt aisle at Walmart. Happy Baby recently came out with these new Whole Milk Yogurt Cups, and they are perfect for Ella.
Yogurt is a great first food for babies, and Happy Baby‘s (providing lots of needed Vitamin D), has probiotics, and has no added sweeteners, which is so important to me. My little girl does not need any more sugar!
True to form, Ella gobbled up her yogurt and wouldn’t even let me take the cup away from her when it was empty! We picked up all four flavors, and so far the sweet potato and banana is her favorite. Happy Baby has always been one of my favorite baby food brands for their unique flavors, and I love that they’re even continuing that trend in yogurt!
Make sure you pick some up Happy Baby Whole Milk Yogurt Cups for your baby at your local Walmart, and make sure you take advantage of the ibotta offer here as well! Who doesn’t want to earn money back on groceries? Let me know what your little one’s favorite flavor is!

Would you recommend giving a cup of yogurt to a 2 year old each day?
