This post is in collaboration with Gymboree. I was provided with items to review as well as compensation for this post. All opinions are my own.
It’s been a busy month in our household. Unlike when I was pregnant with Abbie, we’ve left a lot of preparations for this baby girl for the last few weeks… which leaves us with a lot to do in very little time here at the end. With less than 5 weeks until my due date, I still need to finish hanging all her artwork in the nursery, find the bottles (seriously, I really need to figure out where they are), and pull out all of Abbie’s old clothes to hand down to her sister.
Since both my girls will have fall or winter birthdays, most of Abbie’s clothing should work for this little one… but that doesn’t mean I don’t want to get her a few things just for her. She deserves a few items that were picked out just for her!
As a newborn and infant, Abbie lived in bodysuits and leggings, and I know this baby will do the same. There’s just something about a baby in those tiny little clothes that just melts my heart. I mean, can it get more adorable?
I have a few go-to brands when I’m looking for baby clothes, and Gymboree is one of my favorites. Every piece I’ve ever had for Abbie from Gymboree has held up amazingly – including ones I’ve bought on consignment. They are always such good quality, wash extremely well, and I know they’re going to last. That comes in extremely handy knowing that having two girls, most everything is going to get worn by both of them!
Plus, the colors and prints are easy to mix and match – how could I resist? I also love the foldover cuffs on baby’s bodysuits – I lost more little mittens than I could count with Abbie and those make protecting babies from scratching themselves SO much easier. I’m so excited to have sisters and dress them in coordinating outfits – I mean, that’s half the fun of having two little girls right? I love that everything from Gymboree goes together easily without being too matchy – it’s the perfect way to make sure they go together and still show their individual personalities.
Before I know it, we’ll be learning the personality of this newest addition, and I can’t wait to see my girls together for the first time! I think I might melt. Plus, I love that we’ll have some new, special things on hand for our newborn photos too! I didn’t put a ton of planning into what Abbie wore for her newborn photos, but I definitely will be making sure my girls coordinate this time!
Did you know that September is one of the most popular birth months? In my family, that extends into October and further – most of our family birthdays fall around this time of year! In celebration, Gymboree has teamed up with 6 popular brands for a giveaway to give parents the ultimate bundle for baby. There are over $2,000 in prizes from Gymboree, Land of Nod, Seventh Generation, 4moms, Baby Bjorn, and Munchkin – some of my absolute favorite brands. Head here to enter!

Omg! Those sweet outfits are the best. Absolutely adorable. She will look so stylin’ in them. I agree that baby girl needs a few things all her own.
Oh my gosh that wiener dog outfit is the cutest. I have to say that girls have way more fun with their clothes than boys.
