February Goals

Just like that, it’s a new month, and time for a new set of goals. Having clearly defined goals has really been helping me in my personal growth, and today I’m sharing my goals for February as well as talking about how I did in January.

February Goals

January’s Goals:

Lose 2 pounds. I’m going to count this as a win. While I didn’t lose two pounds from my lowest weight, I did lost it from my higher weight from the month. Pushing forward.

Pre-schedule at least 2 blog posts every Sunday for the upcoming week. I once again did this about 50% of the time. I figure that’s better than nothing!

Grow my Instagram to 1600 followers. I actually blew this one out of the water – I monitored it all month and woke up on February 1 to 1900 followers, which is a huge accomplishment for me! Are you following me on Instagram yet?

Try two new recipes. Big, fat fail. I stuck with my tried and true favorites this month, and I think that’s how things are going to be for a while around here.

Delve more into sharing my personal style. I’ve LOVED doing this series. It’s meant to be a weekly series, but the blizzard threw off my picture taking so there’s been a two-week hiatus. I’ve found that you guys love talking about personal style and our struggles with finding our own. I hope to keep it going all year, and hopefully the weather cooperates this weekend so I can get a few outfits done! Anything you guys would love to talk about? I’d really like to make it more interactive and talk about what you think of “Mom Style!”

So what’s up for February?

February’s Goals:

Lose 2 pounds. Yep, trying it again, slow but steady.

Get out my first newsletter with a survey and freebie for my subscribers! I am so excited to start my newsletter and delve into helping other moms and women do their best, and really want to know what you want to see! If you haven’t joined my email list yet, you can do so at the top of the page to make sure you receive the first newsletter!

Grow my Instagram to 2100 followers. I really want to continue this growth, and I’m aiming for 200 more followers this month! I think this is pretty self-explanatory, but are you following me on Instagram yet?

Celebrate 5 years of marriage! Our 5 year anniversary is the 26th, so I’m excited to carve out some time with my favorite guy and celebrate! We won’t be doing anything crazy, just a simple dinner date, but we get those so rarely it’ll be nice to spend some time that’s just for us.

Deep clean my house. I seriously struggle with this and honestly? After the time I had during that blizzard, there’s no excuse. I have toyed with the idea of hiring a housekeeper to come in once a month, but it just isn’t in the budget yet. At some point this month I want to clear the clutter and give every area of my home a good cleaning. I’m hopeful that’ll make it easier to keep it up, but we’ll see.

Here’s hoping I can accomplish it all! What goals do you have for this month?
