Happy Friday! We’ve officially made it through the first full week of 2016, and I am so happy to see the weekend nearly here. I’m linking up with all the usual Friday linkups today and bringing you my five!
Getting back into a routine this week has been a blessing, but I’m still getting into my groove. It’s kind of nice to be back at work, but getting up on Monday morning was definitely rough. Work’s been a bit busier this week for me due to some staffing changes, but I’m just going to handle it all the best I can – that’s all we can do, right? Abbie also started dance class this week (it was my in-laws birthday gift to her) and the pictures she sent me are just too cute.
I’m already planning for Valentine’s Day, and we’re going to be making Abbie’s valentines this year… based on one of her favorite shows. I’m going to pick up the supplies this weekend and hopefully Abbie and I can make them this weekend or next – can’t wait to show you what I’m doing!
If you got a Fitbit for Christmas, you’re one of many… because this post of mine is going crazy on Pinterest right now. It’s got all my favorite tips for making the most of your Fitbit, and it’s really cool to see so many people checking it out!
I’m really trying to eat a lot of veggies lately, and this salad has been in heavy rotation. Easy, filling, and lots of veggies and protein. You should try it!
We don’t have any big plans this weekend, just a lot of errands and possibly a trip to IKEA. We haven’t been in a while and I could use some new ideas and a few storage solutions, so we’ll see how it goes! Chris is also really excited for the Redskins playoff game on Sunday against the Packers. The Redskins are 9-7 this year, with is a HUGE improvement from last year’s 3-13 record. If you need us on Sunday, we’ll be cheering on our Redskins.
Hope you all have a wonderful weekend! Any fun plans?
GO SKINS!!! YOU LIKE THAT!!! #HTTR
I love that you are a Redskins fan! I am too 🙂 Let’s go Captain Kirk! You’re speaking my love language with Ikea. I feel like I could literally move in there and be happy as can be. Their cinnamon rolls are ahhhh-mazing. I will definitely be trying that salad soon! It looks delish!
Haha yes! HTTR! They do make it hard to be a fan sometimes though, right? And I have to stay away from those cinnamon rolls – too good!!!
Oh that salad looks so delicious! It was definitely rough getting back into the school routine but I am glad it’s Friday!
Me too! Try the salad, you’ll be addicted! Have a great weekend!!
I would rather someone beat me than make me go to IKEA on a weekend. James tried last weekend and that was quickly dismissed. No way, Jose!
I’m attempting to eat more salads so I’m going to add your suggestion to our menu.
Haha, well… at least Abbie can run around in there and get some energy out? I’ll let you know how it goes. 😉
Dance class day is Arden’s favorite day of the week 😉 Hope Abbie loved it! And how cool about your fitbit post !
She definitely liked it it didn’t quite get the organized aspects (like circle time)! And it’s crazy how popular it is right now!
Lol at Chris’ comment. And Abbie is so cute! Her little bun and tutu are precious.
He’s so excited. Seriously. And thank you – I think so too but I’m clearly biased!
Ooh, I love a good ikea trip! Have fun!
Thanks! We ended up not going though- Chris is not a big fan of IKEA so it takes some persuading. Hopefully next weekend!
Dance class… How fun & adorable!!! And I can’t wait to make Valentine’s for Liam’s class this year.
She had fun so I’m excited for her to go again tomorrow. Valentine’s Day is definitely going to be more fun this year. Since she finally “got” Christmas and Halloween I can’t wait to see how Abbie reacts to this! 3 is a lot of fun!
