Happy Friday and (maybe) happy tax day! My office has been crazed the past week (I work for an accounting firm) and I know they’re happy to see today arrive. We filed last week, so I’m glad to have all that behind me. With that, let’s get to my five!
ONE
We’ve got a busy weekend planned, and I’m so looking forward to enjoying some time with my little family. I’m especially looking forward to Sunday – we’re heading to the opening weekend of King’s Dominion’s Spring Bloom Festival. I used to go a lot as a kid and had season passes for a while, but I haven’t been in years. It’s going to be Abbie’s first trip to King’s Dominion, so we’ll see what she thinks. I love going during their special events like this – the Spring Bloom Festival is going to have great food, entertainment, and kid’s activities, so I know we’ll have a blast (“Disclosure: I am being sponsored by Cedar Fair Entertainment Company in conjunction with Blog Meets Brand for this visit, and I have been compensated for my participation. All opinions are my own.”)
TWO
If you read Tuesday’s post, you know Abbie is officially in disposable diapers now. I’m mostly over my disappointment now, and the fact that our amazing daycare provider is going to start potty training for us on Monday? Fingers crossed! She’s trained a lot more kids than I have (considering all I did was help with my sisters and I don’t even remember it), so I’m hoping she has the magic touch. At this point, I’ll buy Abbie nearly anything she wants as a prize for potty training. Seriously.
THREE
Citronella oil came back in stock at Young Living yesterday… and I bought three bottles. Keep all the bugs away from me this summer!!!
FOUR
My second post on Moms Without Answers went up yesterday, in honor of Autism Awareness month. Make sure you pop over and check it out!
FIVE
I’ve been keeping a secret, which is the reason I’ve been a little quieter than usual. Want to know? Come back on Monday!
Have a great weekend friends!

That festival sounds like a blast! I love stuff like that going on this time of year- hope you guys have a great time!!
The King’s Dominion festival sounds like a lot of fun!! Okay, I must be living under a rock because I didn’t even know that Citronella oils existed. We need that here in Texas where the mosquitoes are as big as a bird. Can’t wait to hear your news…but on Monday? C’mon! haha! Curious minds…
You are killing me with that cliff hanger!!! Ha ha! My FIL is very happy to have today over. He’s a tax attorney. We are looking forward to him coming to visit once all the dust settles after today. Yay for starting potty training. Fingers crossed it goes well.
