It’s a….

Last chance to guess! Thanks to the new blood test, we were able to find out early just who our new little family member is, and Abbie sort of cooperated with some fun photos for me.

and we are having…

a sweet baby GIRL!

Gender Reveal-6

I would have been happy no matter what, but I’m so thrilled that Abbie is going to have a sister! I love having sisters (I have three of them) and it’s something I really wanted for her – there’s nothing like a sister. Plus, reusing all of Abbie’s adorable clothes? And matching sister outfits??? Come on. SO cute. We are just so excited to welcome this little girl in the fall and get to know her – and my mom are totally crossing our fingers we get a brunette this time.

Now, were you right? Because my mom was totally wrong!

  1. Congrats! I love that our boys have brothers. I totally wished I would have had a sister growing up. Abbie is going to have so much fun!

  2. Yay!! Congratulations! I was wrong, as I usually am! I have two boys, and I think two of the same is wonderful. There will be a bond only sisters can have, and they will have so much in common. I loved dressing my sons in matching outfits, handing down favorite clothes and toys. So much fun!

    1. I hope so! I really love having sisters, and Chris and I are both so excited to have another little girl!

  3. Sisters are just the best ever! Good luck on the brunette…. those blonde genes seem to be pretty darn strong (sigh).

    1. They do – I seriously was baffled when Abbie came out blonde! We’ll see what this little one looks like soon enough!

  4. Love it! I was thinking boy just because almost EVERY person I know having a baby this year is having a boy haha 🙂 Congrats again though, HOORAY for sisters!!

  5. While I’m 100% Team Blue, I’m so excited to see your family grow, for Miss A to have a sister. I’ve decided to name your newest little girl Bella Blue until you share the name. I figure if Julia got something out there, so does this baby 🙂

  6. Congrats on another little princess! I totally thought it was a boy.

  7. Jess, I told JIm it would be a girl because having two girls and then a boy runs in the family . Chris’ great grandmother Alta Williams had two girls and a boy, his grandmother Jane D”Amico had two girls and a boy (and then a girl) and I h ad two girls and a boy (and then a boy). Your Mother-in-law was the exception to the rule! Having two girls was wonderful, and every girl needs a sister. Having boys is great tho…..

  8. A GIRL!! I’m so excited for you, Jess! yay you will get to use all of your girly cloth patterns again… although I’m definitely using girly diapers on B LOL

I’m so happy for you guys and Abby will LOVE having a sister I’m sure!
