Happy Friday! It’s been a heck of a week and I am so glad to see the end of the week. Let’s get to my five, shall we?
ONE
This little space of mine was down for a little over two days this week… because I changed some settings with my domain and did it wrong! Talk about a stressful two days! I’m so glad it all seems to be squared away now and I’m back in business! You don’t realize just how much your blog means to you until you somehow mess up, right?
TWO
It looks like one last blast of frigid weather is on the way to us this weekend – highs in the teens and lows in the single digits! I am ready for spring at this point for sure!
THREE
It’s just amazing how Abbie’s vocabulary keeps exploding nowadays. She is now at the point where we can have full-on conversations. She’s learning pronouns, is finally starting to refer to herself as “I” and “me,” and can count all the way to thirty. She just amazes me every day with how fast she’s learning.

FOUR
I think I forgot to share it here, but our niece was born last week! Abbie’s new cousin Amelia arrived on February 2nd, and we will hopefully get down to visit and meet her soon! I wish Doug and Erica hadn’t moved so far away, because you know I’d have already been there by now if they were still close by!
FIVE
I am getting desperate for a new computer over here. Mine is about 5 years old and showing it – any recommendations? I’ve been eyeing the MacBook Pro but they’re SO expensive! MacBook owners, are they really worth the price? I’ve never paid that much for a computer before!
Hope you all have a wonderful weekend! Any fun plans?

I have a MacBook Pro and LOVE IT. I’ve had it for a couple years now and haven’t had any problems (knock on wood) and use it everyday so I think it’s worth it. I did get a small discount through Seth’s work (government discount) but it didn’t save THAT much money. I still would have bought it anyway.
Also, guessing you didn’t like my snapchat photo earlier of our weather… sorry!
Well, I took all your advice and got one – so far, VERY happy!
I feel you on the cold weather whoas! Ugh! Ready for spring and warmth to come back. I have a MacBook Pro and love it. We are an apple family!!
Spring is FINALLY here, so yay! And I ended up getting the MacBook Pro. A little bit of a learning curve, but love it so far!
Yes I love my MacBook Pro! Since everything I use a computer for is photo/video related I couldn’t live without it. iMovie is very handy in my opinion. I find it very easy to use in general :). And they last much longer than my husband’s regular PC laptops.
You all convinced me 🙂
Congrats on your new niece!!! And so fun that Abbie can have conversations…LOVE this stage!! I also love my Macbook Pro. My school gave me a MacBook Air, and I love it, too. I don’t know what the major differences are besides the CD drive, but I don’t miss that at all. They have payment plans, so you can spread it out over a few months, if you need!! I think they are DEFINITELY worth it. I hate using regular laptops now!!
The MacBook Pro is what I ended up with!
