Hey all – happy Friday! Let’s get to today’s five, shall we?
I want to thank everyone who took a moment to wish me a happy birthday yesterday! It was really a great day (even though I had to work) and I truly felt so loved. I heard from so many people, including people I haven’t seen in years and fellow bloggers I’ve never met in person but adore. here’s to 32!
I’ve been having a protein shake almost every morning for breakfast lately (using Young Living’s Pure Protein Complete) and it’s made a big difference. My trusty Magic Bullet is starting to wear out, so I ordered this Nutribullet to replace it. It’s got a higher capacity cup, so I’m hoping to add more stuff to my shakes, like maybe sneaking in some veggies… or I may just stick to fruit. We’ll see how it goes!
We have some fun plans this weekend, including attending the Manassas Fall Jubilee on Saturday. We had a blast last year, so I know it’ll be fun this year too. Abbie’s also a year older and more independent now, so I can’t wait to see her take in the fun. There’s live music, some games and lots of vendors out. I love living near a small city that has these cool events for families.
The weather here lately has been perfect- in the 60s and no rain. There’s a reason fall is a favorite season for many of us, and we’re trying to cram in all the outside time we can before the winter weather sets in.
I haven’t mentioned it before, but I recently joined Snapchat and I’m loving it. I mostly share quick snaps of our everyday life, so it’s just fun, and it’s a LOT of Abbie being silly. You can find me @beingmrsbeer.
