Did you miss me?
I’m finally back in action after last week’s move and things are slowly getting back to normal around here. It was a long week of packing, moving, and unpacking…and we’re far from done. The important things are pretty much unpacked – Abbie’s room and the kitchen – but I still need to get all of my clothes, the bathrooms, the guest bedroom, all our books, etc. It’s going to be a while before it’s done, but we’re happy to finally be in our own home.
Also, I had 819 unread posts in Bloglovin’ this morning (even after attempting to go through my feed a few times), so those definitely didn’t all get read. I swear, that’s one of the hardest parts of being out of touch – catching up!
I’m hoping to show you our home in the next few days (if you excuse the boxes everywhere), and Abbie’s room should actually be finished pretty quickly – just need to get everything up on the walls and organize a bit better and she should be done. It was important to me to get that squared away as quickly as possible!
Most everything is put away in the kitchen, just getting used to the new layout. As for living here? Well, we’ve already had to fix a few things, but I suppose that’s home ownership for you, right? That plus the new commute has us making lots of adjustments.
Now, as promised by the post title, some scenes from our move:

Hope you all had a fabulous week while I was out doing all this. I’m ready to catch up with you all and get back to normal!

I love the color of her room. Good luck with the rest of the unpacking!
Thanks hon!
New follower from A+ Life! Congrats on the move, moving is always exciting, and EXHAUSTING! I hope you get all settled in soon!
Thanks hon! Happy to have you here!
That paint color is beautiful!!! Hope you get all unpacked and settled soon.
Thank you!
Eeeeeek! Can’t wait to see more photos!
Hopefully I get my butt in gear here soon…
I hope your move was as painless as possible. It is so difficult to move house (especially when you have kids). I am so jealous about your proximity to Cracker Barrel!
I love Cracker Barrel so much. May be part of the reason we picked this town…totally kidding. Maybe.
BAH! Moving! So exciting, but so much work! Hope you’re settling in to the new house!
I’m seriously so glad we don’t have to move again ANYTIME soon. So much work!
