Bumpdate: (Almost) 30 Weeks!

How Far Along? 30 Weeks tomorrow! Only 10 weeks to go!

Weight Gain? Still right around 23-25 pounds. I’m pretty proud of how well I’ve done – it all seems to be in my belly rather than the rest of me – hopefully that makes the baby weight easier to lose!

Size of Baby? A butternut squash – 17 inches and about 3 pounds! (this definitely makes me want some butternut squash…)

Maternity Clothes? Yep. Ordered some new ones for the cooler weather. I think I just need a pair of black pants and hopefully I’ll be good for the rest of my pregnancy. I’m skipping buying a coat since I’m due in early winter and I won’t be outside too much – I’ll be stealing hoodies from Chris instead!

Stretch Marks?  Yep, all over my belly.

Gender? Reveal/Shower on November 11!

Sleep? Still pretty good, but I definitely have been needing more of it. I wake up a few times a night to pee, but am still getting back to sleep pretty easily. I’ve had some leg cramps at night, but they thankfully go away once I stretch.

Food Cravings? Carbs. Baby doesn’t really seem to like a lot of fruit and veggies. They don’t make me sick or anything, but they’re just not really appealing.

Symptoms? Back is starting to ache, and heartburn comes and goes…and of course my swollen feet at the end of the day J

Movement? Much more now – BB is a little wiggleworm in there!

Belly Button? Starting to become an outie…It’s equal parts fascinating and gross to see what the inside of it looks like.

Wedding rings on or off? Cheapo ring is still on, but that’s starting to get snug too…

Labor signs? I’ve had a few BH, but nothing else.

Best Moment of the Week? Asking my bestie Nichole to be BB’s godmother! (Chris is Catholic, so BB will be baptized even though I’m Jewish.) She was so excited and touched and almost started crying.

What I Miss? Nothing really!

What I am looking forward to: Maybe I’ll start nesting soon? I haven’t really organized much of anything!

Please excuse both my pajamas and our messy bedroom.  I feel like I’ve popped out the last few weeks!

  1. I only had three pairs of maternity pants (one black, one khaki and one jean) along with a pair of leggings and they were great! 🙂
