Five on Friday

Happy Friday!  You know the drill – time to link up with DarciAprilChristina and Natasha!

{ONE}

I finished our taxes this morning and I’m SO happy they’re done!  We’re getting a little bit of money back, so that’ll go toward paying off Chris’ car – every little bit helps!

{TWO}

Abbie’s got some sort of virus that make her break out in a rash….again.  Girlfriend has such sensitive skin, it’s ridiculous.  It was red and bumpy and looks terrible, but doesn’t seem to bother her.  Thankfully it was starting to fade this morning…good thing because I just want it gone!

{THREE}

My best friend found out the gender of her baby yesterday, and I got to attend her party via FaceTime…thank goodness for technology!  I’m not going to put baby’s gender on here until after her shower since I feel it’s her place to tell, but suffice it to say everyone is so very excited for Abbie’s new friend to arrive in June – plus, we know baby’s name now, so the monogramming can begin!

How cute are these monogrammed pacifiers from Potter Gentry Designs?

{FOUR}

It’s supposed to get into the 50s this weekend and I’m so so excited.  We can actually bring Abbie outside – maybe a wagon ride or a walk?  Hopefully it’s a sign of spring! (P.S. – Dear Groundhog, please do whatever thing it is that says spring is coming.  I never remember which it is.)

{FIVE}

I recently hit 300 followers on Bloglovin, so I’m running an ad sale until next Friday!  If you use code “30OFF” you’ll get 30% off an ad spot – that means you can snag one for less that $2!

Have a great Friday!

  1. I am sooo excited for 50 degree weather this weekend!! Any chance I can take for Natalie to breath actual fresh air – we’ve literally pretty much been in our house since November. I hope Abbie’s rash goes away soon, and I love those pacifiers!

  2. I’m so happy I found your blog today! 🙂 I am LOVING it! 🙂 You have such a sweet little family 🙂 I hope you don’t mind that I just followed you on Twitter, IG, Blog Lovin’, etc. 🙂 I can’t wait to follow along and read more 🙂 I hope you had a great weekend!

  3. I know – we have been cooped up too! We actually were able to take Abbie for a wagon ride this weekend since it got up to 60 degrees! It was amazing.

  4. Can you come finish my taxes? We haven’t even started them yet. Julia had a rash this weekend, too, but it was bothering her a little. She’d groan whenever I’d put cream on it. Luckily, it’s gone now. I think it’s from something she ate, but now I need to pinpoint what that was. Congrats on the Bloglovin’ stats!!

  5. I hate having our taxes just lying around, so I always jump on them the SECOND we have everything – doing them online makes it super easy. Glad Julia’s rash went away – it’s the worst when they don’t feel well (plus, everyone asks you what’s wrong, and in my case, she just breaks out with little reason!). Thanks for the congrats 🙂
