Five on Friday…on Friday the 13th!

It’s Friday, so it’s time to link up with DarciAprilChristina and Natasha!

{ONE}

Chris went to Raleigh from midday Wednesday to late last night…and let me tell you, it was hard being without him!  I give single parents SO much credit.  Its so much easier to have a partner in parenting, and I don’t know how single parents do it!

{TWO}

Abbie’s meeting Santa on Sunday!  My mom volunteers for an auxiliary of a local fire department and has for over 20 years.  Every year, they have a Christmas party, and kids and grandkids of the volunteers (up to age 12) get to meet Santa and get a gift from the auxiliary.  My sisters and I all attended the very same party, and it’ll be really cool to bring Abbie…plus I’m excited to see how she handles Santa!

{THREE}

I may be able to have a lunch date with Christin of The Southern Wife tomorrow while she’s in town – cross your fingers it works out!

{FOUR}

All of our Christmas presents are wrapped and under the tree (well, except Santa’s, obviously).  I’m so glad I won’t need to worry about that on Christmas Eve…which is when my parents always left the wrapping for.  Let’s just say I used to be the helper elf!

{FIVE}

I’m hoping to get our holiday cards mailed out this weekend – I usually have them out earlier and feel so behind!

Hope you all have a great weekend!
