It’s safe to say I’m a big fan of dessert. Cake? Vanilla please! Cookies? Nothing beats chocolate chip. Ice cream? So many great flavors that I can’t pick. Honestly, I really like most sweets (to the detriment of my weight loss journey).
I tend to steer my sweet tooth with the season we’re in. Since it’s summer and so hot and humid outside, I’ve been sticking with desserts that are served cold lately, and one of my favorites is pudding, especially a classic like tapioca pudding.
What better way to celebrate National Tapioca Pudding Day today?
Some of my favorite options:
- Fresh berries (as shown)
- Mini chocolate chips
- Slivered almonds
- Maple syrup or honey
- Walnuts or pecans
- Crushed graham crackers
- Dried fruit (cranberries, currants, cherries, etc)
- Chopped up candy bars
