Sweet Girl Baby Shower {Nichole’s Shower Recap}

So, I figure it’s about time I showed you Nichole’s baby shower, huh?  It turned out pretty nice, even if the cake didn’t come out exactly how I wanted it (and there was way too much of it – I brought the entire bottom layer home!).  It was originally supposed to be chevron, but that didn’t quite work out for me.  I thought the polka dots were cute too…and tasty (for some reason I’m a crazy person and love fondant so I caught myself eating it).  I’ll let the pictures do the talking.

As usual, my little sister came along to help out!

The seam connecting the layers was far from neat since I assembled it there – have to get better at that!

I’m so glad Nichole’s mom and I got to throw this shower for her and her little girl, and I’m so excited to meet her next month!

    1. Thank you! I hate when my cakes don’t turn out how they are in my head, but I think I put more pressure on myself than other people! And thank you for the compliment!
