So, I figure it’s about time I showed you Nichole’s baby shower, huh? It turned out pretty nice, even if the cake didn’t come out exactly how I wanted it (and there was way too much of it – I brought the entire bottom layer home!). It was originally supposed to be chevron, but that didn’t quite work out for me. I thought the polka dots were cute too…and tasty (for some reason I’m a crazy person and love fondant so I caught myself eating it). I’ll let the pictures do the talking.

I’m so glad Nichole’s mom and I got to throw this shower for her and her little girl, and I’m so excited to meet her next month!

Thank you!
Such a cute party! Gosh I love baby showers, someone in my family needs to have a baby- lol! 🙂 I think the cake look great, polka dots are better than chevron anyway 😉 And Jess you LOOK AMAZING!
Thank you! I hate when my cakes don’t turn out how they are in my head, but I think I put more pressure on myself than other people! And thank you for the compliment!
So sweet that you made that cake! I’m super impressed with your talent. I can’t make treats like that to save my life, ha.
Thanks! It’s just lots of practice…and a love for sweets, of course.
