So, this monthly goals thing? To be honest, it’s not really working for me, so I’m going to switch it up. To make a long story short, I didn’t hit ANY of my September goals. Fall is always a crazy time of year for us and I just didn’t end up having time for everything I wanted to do. So this month, I’m going to keep it simple – only 5 goals.
Create Buttons for my sidebar. This has seriously been on my to-do list since I got a new design over the summer. I really want to get this done to make things a bit more user-friendly around here.
12,500 steps every day. I ALMOST got there, and if you average it all out, I did… but not by getting my goal amount every day. I’m on track so far for the month, so fingers crossed I actually complete it this time.
Have a date night with Chris. So, I can actually cross this one off already! Last weekend, his parents came over for dinner and to watch Abbie so Chris and I could go to the movies to see The Intern. It was seriously the best movie I’ve seen in a long time, and as a mom (and a working mom, especially), it made me feel really good about myself. Hard to explain, but I promise you it’s worth the movie ticket!
Celebrate my birthday! My birthday is on the 22nd, so I just want a little celebration with my family… maybe just no cooking that night and something small from my wishlist.
Do an outdoor fall activity. This might be the pumpkin patch, apple picking, a fall festival… any and everything fall and fun!
I’m glad I decided to keep it easy this month – hopefully I can accomplish all these goals! Did you set any for the month?

AWESOME! I have been totally slacking on my steps lately. Mainly because I keep taking my FitBit off and forgetting to put it back on for days (weeks). UGH. Great goals!
I tried the monthly goals thing too, and failed. I always have the best intentions, but life happens. I like the idea of only 5 goals. Sounds doable. Great goals for October. Best of luck reaching those goals!
This seems like a perfectly wonderful and manageable list of goals! You can do it girl. I’ve been majorly failing on my goals over here – need to find a way to get back on track! AND I need to get my fitbit fixed so I can workweek hustle with you again. Did I tell you I found my lost fitbit and then it stopped working? Oy!
