I am so glad to see Friday! Fall is always so busy for me, and I’m looking forward to the weekend arriving so I can get some things done!
ONE
I have eaten entirely too much processed food lately, and I feel it for sure. I’m hoping to get organized this weekend and get some homemade stuff ready to go for the week. Overnight oatmeal may become my best friend.
TWO
Related to number one, I recently bought myself a birthday present – the SkinnyTaste cookbook – and I love it. I’ve been a fan of Gina’s blog for years, and I’m hoping this gives me the kick in the pants I’ve been needing. Lots of new things to try, and I’ll definitely be breaking out the slow cooker for some of them … that needs to be a permanent fixture on my counter this fall and winter, and thankfully there’s lots of those in here!
THREE
I started going back to a chiropractor again. I’ve had tension and pain in my shoulders for years, and when I was going to a chiropractor, it helped, so I thought I’d give it another try. After my first visit on Tuesday I definitely felt better, but my muscles were sore for a few days as they got used to their new position. I go back today, then three times next week, and my doctor thinks I can drastically cut down my visits from there. If you’ve ever considered going to a chiropractor, I highly recommend it – my insurance covers 25 visits a year with my specialist copay – well worth it.

that mug is so cute! I almost walked out of target with one of the monogrammed letter ones! Overnight oatmeal – I haven’t done that in way too long. Now that it’s cold I might have to start that again! yummy!
