Happy Monday! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend and I wanted to pop in with a quick recap of ours! My sister was home for her fall break, so we spent Saturday morning with her and my mom. We had breakfast at our favorite place before heading over to the farmer’s market… where Abbie ran all over with Chris and I bought tons of yummy honeycrisp apples and a few beautiful acorn squash. Fall produce is always so pretty!
We then hung out at home for a while spending time with Andrea before they had to head home and Abbie had to nap. Seriously, one of my favorite things is seeing Abbie with my family. I didn’t have a ton of interaction with my aunts and uncles growing up (and still don’t) so it’s awesome to see Abbie enjoying hers.
Once she got up, we headed over to our HOA’s community get-together. It’s a new thing the HOA is trying this year and Abbie had fun running around… and got a little bit obsessed with the karaoke machine’s microphone… do I have a future pop star on my hands? Only time will tell.
Our Sunday was filled with the normal errands we need to make the workweek successful. But now for the exciting part of the post – a Halloween Linkup! As you may have read on Friday, Abbie’s going to be Tinkerbell for Halloween. I love seeing kiddos in their costumes (plus it gives me ideas for future costumes), so I reached out to a few lovely ladies and we’re hosting a Halloween costume linkup!
The details are above, but join Stephanie, Meghan, Crystal, Jessica, Jennifer and I on November 2nd to share all your Halloween fun – celebrations, favorite traditions, and costumes. Halloween is more fun to me with little kids, so I’m excited to see how you make Halloween special for your kids! If you don’t blog and just want to join in on Instagram, Facebook, etc., use the hashtag #CCOSTUMEPTY15. I hope you’ll join us!
