After feeling a bit lost last week, I’m happy to say I’m finding my way again in so many ways, but mostly with my weight loss journey. I’m at the point that I just got frustrated with my lack of progress and backwards slide, and it’s time to do something about it. I need to get my butt in gear, and I’ve made some plans this week.
My gym bag? Packed and waiting in my car for lunchtime.
That T25 workout I’ve been meaning to try? Ready to make it part of my routine, even if it isn’t every day.
My fridge? Stocked with lots of healthy stuff – fruits, veggies, greek yogurt.
Dinners? Planned, with lots of lean meats and veggies included.
My Fitbit? Charging as I type this.
My family? Excited to go on walks after dinner this week every day the weather allows.
You guys? Ready to cheer me on and get some support yourselves. (I hope!)
I know a lot of people, both in real life and blogland (is that a term?) who have been stuck in the same place I have been – wanting to lose weight but lacking motivation, support, etc. I have friends I text with about food, exercise, bad days and good days. It’s a huge help, but I’m feeling like I need to have one place to check, and one place to go to check on everyone. My Weight Watchers meeting are where I get some of my best ideas, advice and support, and I’d like to have that available all week. Why not with people I know?
On that note, I’m starting a support group of my own – and this is where you guys come in. I’m starting the group out with some of my real life friends on this journey, but I know so many of you are in the same place, so I’m opening it to you as well. It’s a Facebook group so we can all support each other no matter where we are or what time of day it is. All I ask is that you’re serious about your weight loss journey and will be a positive influence for others. If you want in, you can join here!

T25 is great, I love the workouts and Shaun T is so encouraging! have you tried the 21 Day Fix program? That one if my favorite so far.

What a great idea! I’m in. I need something to hold me accountable. I may not loose weight while we’re still living with my parents but I don’t need to throw out all my good habits either!
