Finally. Like all of you, I’m happy to see Friday… so let’s get to it!
Someone shared this video online last night and it’s hysterical to me. People usually have no idea about Jewish food… so this was priceless. And for the record, I think gefilte fish and chopped liver are gross, but the rugelach, matzo ball soup, and manischewitz totally make up for it.
I think I’ve settled on navy, brown, and green for our upcoming pictures and am on the hunt for a top for me. I asked Chris if he had a blue shirt he liked and he immediately asked me to please not make us match. Don’t worry babe, this isn’t the 1980s.
If my Hokies would stop breaking my heart, that would be great. Could I please get a win this week, guys? Sometimes being a football fan is so hard.
I have no idea what Abbie’s going to be for Halloween. If I’m being honest, I don’t really like Halloween, and it was never something I got excited about. I just wasn’t into costumes, and I preferred to buy my own candy so I always got what I wanted… needless to say I was always the one passing out the candy in our house. I’m undecided if we’re going to take Abbie out in the neighborhood, but I’m sure Chris’ office or mine will have a Halloween thing, so I’m trying to figure it out. I kind of can’t wait until she can decide what to dress up as, because then at least I’ll have a direction!
You guys are AMAZING. Thank you for your sweet words on Wednesday’s post – it’s so comforting to know you have all been there and know exactly what I’m talking about. Hopefully it won’t take too long to get back into some kind of routine and get back to the things I love to do.
