Stitch Fix #4

Yep, already time for another Stitch Fix! I got one earlier this month, but opted to keep my boxes closer together so I could get another in time for my birthday. In fact, this box was supposed to arrive tomorrow (on my actual birthday!), but I was excited to see it on my doorstep two days early.

Stitch Fix 4

This is my fourth fix, and I really feel like they start to “get” you the more fixes you get. This was my favorite fix yet, and I’m so torn on what to keep! I usually aim to keep 1-2 items, but I’m having a really hard time narrowing it down this time – Aileen was my stylist this time, and she did a fabulous job!

Item 1 – Margaret M Emer High Waisted Cropped Trouser

Other than my skinny jeans, I haven’t gotten any pants from Stitch Fix yet, but I was excited to see these. The color is great, they’re super comfortable, and they’re definitely appropriate for work. I wasn’t expecting to love them as much as I do – the longer I wore them, the more I liked them! I’m wearing them in all these pictures. The only thing I don’t like? They’re a bit pricey at $98, and I’m having a really hard time justifying spending that much, especially since when I lose weight, my pants size is one of the first things that changes.

Item 2 – 41Hawthorn Mattia Chain Print Mixed Material V-Neck Blouse

I adore the print of this blouse – it’s fun but still professional, and right up my alley. I loved that the sleeves were a different but coordinating material – it made it interesting. However, there was no give to the bodice of the top. Since I’m really well endowed, I run into this problem a lot. If the top had some stretch to it, it would definitely be a keeper, but right now I’m pretty sure it’s going back.

Item 3 – Zad Adrianna Circle Bib Necklace

Aileen took this straight off my inspiration Pinterest board, and I’m so glad she did! I originally saw it on Molly’s blog and loved it (you need to add her to your daily reads, by the way), so I was excited to see this in my box. It’s such a different, interesting piece and I don’t have anything like it. Pretty sure I’m keeping it.

Item 4 – 41Hawthorn Rowson Colorblock Striped Sweater

When I took this sweater out of the box, I was pretty excited… it’s exactly the kind of thing I would pick out myself in a store. The colors are great, it fits well, and it’s comfortable. I think there’s no doubt I’m keeping this one.

Item 5 – Renee C Huebert Space Dye Open Cardigan

I had asked for a fun cardigan in my fix, and I love the cut of this one, but I was thinking something a bit more colorful. I already have a plain grey cardigan, so I don’t know if this is a great investment – I don’t need two! I do love the unique detail of it being longer in the front, plus it’s super comfy, but I’m leaning toward sending this back since I already have a grey cardigan.

Want in on Stitch Fix?  It’s super easy!

  • Log in to stitchfix.com and you create your style profile.  (Use my referral link pretty please!)
  • You pay a $20 styling fee (which goes toward your order), then the Stitch Fix stylists picks out  5 items for you to try on.
  • The box arrives at your doorstep.  You try them on and decide what to keep, then send back anything you don’t want.
  • Checkout online, giving feedback about what you did and didn’t like about your fix.
  • If you keep all 5 items, you receive 25% off your order.
  • You get to choose your price range, so your stylist has an idea of what you’re willing to spend.

Thoughts on my fix? I think Aileen really nailed my style with this fix and I’m pretty sure I’ll be requesting her again! Right now I’m pretty sure I’m definitely keeping the striped sweater, 90% sure I’m keeping the necklace, but undecided on everything else! Help me choose!

  1. love the necklace—a lot! And the pants are great, but that price tag would sway me from keeping them. I also love the cardigan, but if you have a similar one, then it wouldn’t really be worth it?

  2. I love the necklace! Super Cute! (Funny story – did you know that Katie and I have known Molly since elementary school? It’s so funny to see her pop up on Pinterest!) And Love the sweater! I have that exact one pinned in hopes it will be in my own stitch fix box this week!

  3. I have been seeing so many fun styles thru stitch-fix….I may have to jump on the bandwagon. Love that necklace and sweater 🙂

  4. Really cute box this month! Loved the open front cardigan, necklace and the first top. All looked great 🙂 Making it tempting to join!
