I can’t believe it’s already Tuesday – the day just got away from me yesterday. We had a busy weekend!
Friday night we didn’t do much but catch up on the DVR…except that I never seem to completely catch up. It’s always at least 25-30% full. Oops.
Saturday we headed to Weight Watchers, where I did a no-weigh pass and Chris lost 2 pounds! After that is was grocery shopping, then home to wait until my mom got there – she babysat on Saturday night so we could head to Matt and Aimee’s wedding.
It was a little hard to leave Abbie, but there’s no one I trust more to leave her with than my mom. Abbie did great with her, eating pizza and pouches for dinner, getting a bath, and went right to sleep with no issues. She was sound asleep when we got home, and slept straight through until about 7:00am Sunday morning.
In the meantime, we had a blast at the wedding. They got married on Matt’s family’s farm, so it was rustic and beautiful. Aimee wore a yellow dress and her daughter was one of the flower girls – complete with an orange and yellow tutu and cowboy boots. Chris’ brother Greg is Matt’s roommate, so he was in the wedding party – I hadn’t seen him since Easter so it was great to see him. I’ll recap it in detail soon, but here’s a peek of the arch Matt built for the ceremony, and of course one of me and Chris.
Sunday, Abbie watched some Dora with Daddy…
Then we had more family time – we headed down to my parents’ house to celebrate Andrea’s birthday… where Abbie got her hands on Grandma’s magnet collection…
And hung out with her Pop…
We got Andrea a necklace that reads “She believed she could so she did” and Andrea started to tear up! She and I are definitely the sappy ones in the family.
Linking up with Sami!

Thanks! It was, just really busy!
Hahaha, the funny part is the entire top of the fridge is covered too…and not even all of the magnets are on there! My mom loves them, that’s for sure!
The daddy daughter dora pics are the best!
It really is super cute! My blondies.
First of all, you have an EPIC last name. Way to marry right. I got stuck with Roach. Yikes. Second off, your lil gal is adorable. Love her blonde hair! 🙂 Looks like y’all had a fabulous weekend. You go with the magnets, girl.

Hahaha, I guess I did pretty well with the new last name! And there are definitely way worse ones than Roach out there!
Thanks for sweet compliments about Abbie!
