New Blog Design…and I’m sick.

I just wanted to take a minute to thank Aubrey of Kinch Designs for my fabulous new look!  I’d been wanting something different for a little while, and I think she did a great job figuring out exactly what I wanted!

In other news, I’ve been feeling gross the last few weeks.  Last night, I finally realized how sick I was and headed to Urgent Care today.  The diagnosis?  Sinus infection and ear infection.  She gave me five prescriptions.  When I picked them all up, I felt a little awkward…only crazy sick people need these many drugs, right?  (It didn’t help that I also picked up my regular meds at the same time.)  I’m glad I finally went to the doctor – I’ve been fighting this thing for weeks.  First I thought it was leftover pregnancy congestion (at 6 months pp? Clearly I’m delusional, but I’m still losing hair, so I thought maybe…).  Then I thought it was allergies, then a cold.  Then I thought I was just exhausted from all the prep for Nichole’s bridal shower.

Moral of the story?  If you feel sick, go to the doctor.  Even if you don’t want to.

On that note, now that Abbie’s asleep, I’m off to take my meds, shower, and climb under the covers.
