Oh Hey Friday {2.13.15}

Happy Friday! Let’s keep it simple today – here’s my five!

ONE

I made Valentine’s cake pops for Abbie’s daycare last night (don’t know what I was thinking making them during the week since they’re pretty time-consuming), and they were a hit! I brought the extras into work today and I’m hoping they disappear fast since they are entirely too tempting to have on my desk.

THREE

I recently got these earrings from Nickel and Suede, and I cannot say enough good things about them. I love the look of big earrings, but they always hurt my ears – until now. These are made of leather so they’re super light, and I can get the look of big earrings without the pain. I may have gotten multiple pairs. If you’re curious, these are the small ones in antique gold.

FOUR

I am a bit nervous about my weigh in tomorrow. After my great week last week, it was bound to even out a bit this week. I did great the beginning of the week, but have been a little lazy this second half of it. We’ll see!

FIVE

I hope you all have a wonderful Valentine’s Day weekend!

  1. Cute cake pops! I made some Oreo truffles to bring into work and they disappeared very quickly which is a very good thing! LOVE those earrings and love that they are not heavy! Hope you have a lovely weekend!

  2. Those cake pops look amazing!!! I have never had success with making those. I think the sprinkles just made them even that more perfect. I hope y’all have a fabulous Valentine’s Day!

    1. Really? How are you making them? I just make a cake and mix half a can of frosting in and I usually do ok. I wonder if I should make them for St. Patrick’s Day and do a tutorial?
