Happy Friday! Oh, and Happy Halloween. Let’s get to it, shall we?
ONE
I must be one of the few people who doesn’t get excited about Halloween. Don’t get me wrong, kids in costumes are cute. Really cute. But I don’t like anything scary. Don’t worry, we’re not the grinch house that doesn’t do anything (I even buy the good candy), but I just don’t get excited about Halloween. I never really have and most likely never will. I did grab Abbie a ladybug costume at Target, so we’ll likely have her wear that while we pass out candy tonight. That or one of her many Halloween shirts.

Now that Halloween is here, I get to start being excited about Thanksgiving, which is hands down my favorite holiday. Seriously, it has everything I love – family togetherness, the Macy’s parade, football, so many of my favorite foods, and shopping the day after. It doesn’t get any better than that.
THREE
Our family pictures are tomorrow at sunrise, and I’m hoping the rain holds off until we’re done – it’s not supposed to start until midday, so we should be ok. It’s going to be cold, but hopefully worth it. Abbie’s usually in a good mood in the morning, so we’ll see how things go!
FOUR
Holiday shopping is in full swing around here. I started back in the summer, and usually have at least half of my shopping done by now… except for this year. Abbie’s done, but there’s so much else left to do! Hopefully I’ll find the perfect gifts soon so I can be done and have the holidays be stress free!
FIVE
My in-laws get here on Monday and we’re so excited to see them – we haven’t seen them since the spring. This is their last visit before they’re home from living overseas for good!
Have a great weekend all! Have fun and be safe tonight!

Totally agree about Halloween. I bought Julia’s costume back in August and never thought twice about it. Definitely not one of those who will get super creative with a costume. Although, maybe next year I’ll buy some festive shirts. OH! And I agree about Thanksgiving. CAN’T WAIT! It makes me sad that fall stuff is already seeing its way out of the stores, though. I want to see more of it around!
Oh, I can’t wait to see your family photos! I love all the family pictures everyone gets this time of year. We just did ours too – still waiting on the sneak peek!
